Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular California Shoreline
A helicopter flying over a well-attended southern California coastline suddenly began spiraling wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators watched.
Footage shared on social media depict the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then plunging towards the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Details
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on that day.
Three people on the street were injured. Information on their condition were still under review.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

Officials mentioned the aircraft was associated with an annual “Cars and Copters” benefit occasion set for Sunday.
